"Digital Finance Toronto" Conference Drops Bitcoin From Agenda
From Organizer Christine Duhaime: "We have changed the Conference in that it does not have a Bitcoin component any longer, in part to cater to the demographics of the Toronto audience. It's disappointing, including for me, but Toronto just is in a different place in terms of FinTech." http://www.digitalfinancetoronto.com/ At Digital Finance Vancouver bitcoiners asked tough questions of both traditional bankers and anti-money laundering officials. Despite the omission of bitcoin on the official agenda, I encourage Toronto bitcoiners put it on the unofficial agenda of question periods. EDIT: Reputable sources tell me bitcoin is now being re-introduced into the agenda.
