If you want Bitcoin to be a global currency then I don't think everyone should be able to run a node.

If bitcoin were local only then everyone having a node wouldn't be a big deal. But as Satoshi described bitcoin, in the paper that we all learned about it from, miners and nodes are likely to be big data centers, something that every city or country can have multiple of, but not every person.
Am I wrong to think this, or by thinking this?
